Located within Marlette Regional Hospital, the Gordon and Gayle Miller Foundation Women’s Imaging Center provides the following services:

Bone Density is a measure of the amount of minerals, primarily calcium and phosphorus, in a given volume of bone. Bones with higher mineral content are denser, stronger, and less likely to break.

3D Mammography is an imaging test that combines multiple breast X-rays to create a three-dimensional picture of the breast.

3D mammography’s exceptionally sharp images has been clinically proven to detect forty-one percent more invasive breast cancer over 2D technology and has proven to reduce callbacks for additional testing by 40%. 3D technology is also FDA-approved as a superior screening technology for women with dense breast tissue.

An ultrasound is an imaging test that uses sound waves to make pictures of organs, tissues, and other structures inside your body.

Ultrasound technology is used for evaluation and diagnosis, guidance in surgical procedures, aiding in biopsies of pathology, OB evaluation, and early detection of breast cancer.
