Deckerville Community Hospital has served the community for over 70 years and has been a certified Critical Access Hospital for 22 years, offering many patient services, including laboratory, emergency services, surgical services, inpatient services, medical imaging, therapy services, and more.
Hills & Dales Healthcare was named one of the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals for 2023 and operates a 25-bed critical access hospital, emergency services, surgical services, urgent care, two rehabilitation centers, a retail pharmacy, an assisted living/memory care facility, and clinics in Caro, Ubly, Cass City, Kingston, and Bad Axe, Michigan, offering a full-range of quality inpatient and outpatient health services.
Marlette Regional Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital, an attached 39-bed skilled nursing facility, independent living, assisted living and memory care community known as The Heartlands, a non-profit hospice program known as United Hospice Service, along with clinics in Marlette, Brown City, North Branch, and Mayville. Marlette Regional Hospital houses the CRTN Cancer Care Center providing medical oncology, chemotherapy infusion, and radiation oncology so patients don’t have to leave the Thumb area to receive exceptional care.
The Heartlands offers a variety of living options to meet different senior lifestyles including 20 spacious standalone independent living villas with attached garages. As well as 20 assisted living and 12 memory care apartments for residents requiring additional care and support services. The campus also features a 4,596 square foot community center that is available for public use by appointment and includes: large meeting area, seating up to 65 people, kitchenette, media room, bathrooms, and an outside dining area.
Aspire Rural Health System is making it easy – and meaningful – for student athletes to get clearned for the upcoming sports season. For just $10 (Cash only), students can walk in and receive a comprehensive sports physical at participating Aspire locations on select dates throughout July and August. In addition to sports physicals, select locations will also offer a free injury prevention screening provided by Aspire’s Physical Therapy team. No appointments are needed, just stop by between 1:00pm and 4:00pm on the date designated for your preferred location. A parent or guardian must accompany the student athlete. Aspire Rural Health System is proud to announce the opening of the Marlette Dermatology Clinic, a new dermatology clinic expanding specialty care access for the Thumb region. The clinic is located in downtown Marlette at 2985 Main St., and is led by Tyler Conway, MD, a board-certified dermatologist providing comprehensive medical and surgical dermatology services. Dr. Conway provides preventative care and treatment for a wide range of acute and chronic skin conditions, including routine skin checks, skin cancer screenings, acne, rashes, occupational skin exposure, skin cancer risk management, and more.
