The long-standing rivalry between the Marlette Red Raiders and Brown City Green Devils will once again take center stage on Friday, September 18—but this matchup is about much more than football. The Pink Out for Cancer Clash brings both communities together to raise awareness for breast cancer while supporting local patients through the Aspire Rural Health System Foundation’s Breast Cancer Understanding, Prevention & Screenings (B.C.U.P.S.) Program.
The community is invited to kick off the evening with a tailgate from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. before game time at 7:00 p.m. at Brown City High School.
Admission is $5 per person, or attendees can receive free admission by purchasing a Pink Out for Cancer t-shirt. Every dollar raised benefits the B.C.U.P.S. Program, helping uninsured and underinsured individuals receive lifesaving breast cancer screenings while also providing financial assistance to local breast cancer patients undergoing treatment.
The B.C.U.P.S. Program helps remove financial barriers by assisting patients with screening mammograms, diagnostic testing, and other breast cancer-related needs. For individuals diagnosed with breast cancer, the program also offers grant funding to help ease the financial burden during treatment.
The Pink Out for Cancer Clash is made possible through the dedication of community volunteers, local businesses, and representatives from both Brown City and Marlette schools, all working together with the Aspire Rural Health System Foundation to make a meaningful difference for local families.
