Aspire Rural Health System is pleased to welcome Caitlin Habib, DO, board-certified in Internal Medicine, to Sandusky Family Practice. Dr. Habib will begin seeing patients on Monday, March 9, 2026.
Dr. Habib brings several years of experience caring for patients in both hospital and outpatient settings. Most recently, she has served as a hospitalist with Mercy Hospitalists at Trinity Health Oakland. Her background also includes experience with Advocate Medical Group–Lutheran General Hospital in Illinois and as an internal medicine physician in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Dr. Habib completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Beaumont Health in Farmington Hills, Michigan. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of Pikeville – Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Louisville.
She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and maintains ACLS and BLS certifications. Dr. Habib is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Physicians and previously served on the Executive Council for the Michigan Osteopathic Association’s Council of Interns and Residents.
As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Habib provides comprehensive care for adults, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and overall health maintenance.
