It is with great pride that Aspire shares the success of our Annual Golf Outing held on Friday, September 5th. Thanks to the incredible support of our golfers, sponsors, employees, and donors, the event profited just over $146,000!
This year’s outing spanned four courses—Rolling Hills in Cass City, Huron Shores in Port Sanilac, Verona Hills in Bad Axe, and Ubly Heights Golf Course—bringing together a total of 424 golfers.
We are deeply grateful for the generosity shown through 87 sponsorships and more than 200 in-kind donations, all of which helped make this year’s outing such a memorable success. These figures speak volumes about the strength of our community and the collective commitment to making a difference. This year’s outing supported our three impactful projects:
- Aspire Deckerville Community Hospital – Parking Lot Expansion
We’re adding 18,600 square feet of parking space to improve accessibility for patients and visitors, enhancing convenience and safety at the hospital’s front entrance.
- Aspire Hills & Dales Healthcare – Inpatient Room Renovation
We aim to renovate the remaining 12 inpatient rooms on the second floor that were not updated during the 2017 expansion. These updates will ensure all patients receive care in modern, private, and comfortable rooms designed to promote healing and well-being.
- Aspire Marlette Regional Hospital – New Ambulance Initiative
This vital, life-saving vehicle will replace an aging unit, ensuring faster response times, better patient care, and increased reliability when every second counts. The new ambulance will be fully equipped with the latest life-support technology, including a cardiac monitor, defibrillator, oxygen delivery system, and enhanced safety features designed for both patients and paramedics. Built for durability and efficiency, this advanced vehicle will enable our EMS teams to respond to thousands of emergencies and save countless lives. Your generous support will directly contribute to the purchase, outfitting, and long-term sustainability of this essential emergency resource.
These enhancements will have a lasting impact on the lives of our patients and their families—and it’s all because of you. “To every golfer, sponsor, donor, volunteer, and committee member: thank you! Your generosity, commitment, and passion are what makes this event not only possible, but a tradition that continues to thrive year after year. I am both humbled and proud to be a part of this incredible organization and this remarkable event.” Said Stephanie Langenburg, Foundation Director of Aspire Rural Health System.
