Aspire Women’s Health Expands Services to Deckerville

June 26, 2026

Aspire Rural Health System is making it easier for women throughout the Thumb region to access comprehensive women’s healthcare close to home. The Aspire Women’s Health Clinic, located at Aspire’s Marlette Regional Hospital, continues to provide a full range of women’s healthcare services, including annual wellness exams, gynecologic care, family planning, menopause management, and prenatal care in collaboration with CMU Health.

Leading the clinic alongside OB/GYN Dr. Wright is Michelle Burgess, FNP-C, an experienced women’s health provider dedicated to caring for women through every stage of life—including pregnancy and postpartum care.

To further improve access for patients throughout the region, Michelle will begin seeing patients at Deckerville Healthcare Services on the first Friday of every month. This expanded schedule allows women in northern Sanilac County and surrounding communities to receive specialized women’s health services closer to home.

“Women deserve access to quality healthcare without having to travel long distances,” said Michelle Burgess, FNP-C. “Whether you’re planning a pregnancy, expecting a baby, managing menopause symptoms, or simply due for your annual wellness visit, we’re here to provide compassionate, personalized care.”

Services available through Aspire Women’s Health include:

• Annual well-woman exams
• Prenatal and postpartum care
• Family planning and birth control counseling
• Menopause management
• Gynecologic care and screenings
• Preventive women’s health services

Patients seeking prenatal care can receive routine pregnancy visits locally through Aspire Women’s Health while benefiting from coordinated care throughout their pregnancy journey.

Appointments are available in Marlette, with monthly appointments now offered in Deckerville.
