Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a surgeon performing an operation?
Aspire Rural Health System invites community members to find out for themselves during the DaVinci Interactive Experience on Wednesday, June 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Hills & Dales Hospital Lobby in Cass City.
This free, hands-on event offers participants a unique opportunity to explore the advanced technology behind robotic-assisted surgery. Guests will have the opportunity to interact with a DaVinci Surgical System similar to the robotic technology used in Cass City by Aspire’s surgeons. Through hands-on demonstrations, participants can experience how robotic-assisted surgical systems help physicians perform procedures with enhanced precision and control.
Robotic-assisted surgery is utilized by Aspire’s general surgeons and urologists for a variety of procedures, including gallbladder removal, hernia repairs, and select urologic surgeries.
Whether you’re interested in healthcare technology, considering a career in medicine, or simply curious about the future of surgery, this interactive experience provides an engaging and educational opportunity for all ages.
“Many people have heard of robotic-assisted surgery but have never had the chance to see the technology up close,” said Kathleen Moran, Aspire Practice Manager. “This event allows community members to get behind the controls and better understand how these innovative tools help surgeons provide exceptional patient care.”
Community members are encouraged to stop by, explore the technology, and discover what it’s like to operate one of the most advanced surgical systems available today. Light refreshments will be available throughout the event.
