Aspire Welcomes Two New Psychiatrists to Serve the Thumb Region

August 14, 2025

Aspire Rural Health System is proud to announce the opening of the Aspire Psychiatry Clinic, bringing expanded mental health services to the Thumb region. The clinic, located at 4624 Hill Street in Cass City, will open Monday, August 18, 2025, and is now accepting appointments for patients age 18 and older.

Leading this new service are Ethan Dawson-Baglien, DO, and Chelsea Rawe, DO, board-certified psychiatrists committed to providing compassionate, expert care. They treat a wide range of conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, substance use disorders, autism spectrum disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, specific phobias, and more.

Having two psychiatrists in the community offers several advantages:

  • Shorter wait times and expanded access to care.
  • Ability to accommodate patient gender preference for their doctor.
  • More collaboration with other medical specialties.
  • Expanded consult services for hospitals and clinics.
  • Greater flexibility for patients in unique situations (e.g., couples needing separate providers).

Community Open House
The public is invited to meet Dr. Dawson-Baglien and Dr. Rawe during an Open House on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Aspire Psychiatry Clinic. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place promptly at 11:00 a.m., followed by light refreshments. Attendees will have the chance to enter a drawing for a $25 gift card to Petal N Bean.
