Coming July 2025: Pediatric ENT Services at Aspire Marlette with Dr. Jay Szekely

Aspire Rural Health System is excited to announce that starting on July 15, 2025, families in the region will have access to specialized Pediatric Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) care right in their community. Through a partnership with Michigan Pediatric ENT Associates, Dr. Jay Szekely, DO, a trusted Pediatric ENT specialist, will begin seeing patients in Marlette.

Aspire is committed to meeting the need in the community by offering expert Pediatric ENT services close to home — reducing travel time and ensuring children receive timely, professional care.

Dr. Szekely earned his medical degree from Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Otolaryngology residency at Detroit Medical Center. After practicing general ENT in his hometown in the Saginaw Valley, he pursued advanced training in pediatric otolaryngology through a fellowship at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. He is passionate about caring for children with ear, nose, and throat conditions, with special interests in sinusitis, chronic ear disease, airway disorders, and obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Szekely has performed over 100 hypoglossal nerve stimulator implantations to treat sleep apnea prior to his fellowship.
