Aspire Rural Health System proudly welcomed community members, local leaders, and healthcare partners to a successful Open House event on Thursday, May 29, at its newly renovated facility in Bad Axe. Held from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, the event marked the official celebration of the site’s expansion and the growth of Aspire’s services in Huron County.
Guests toured the updated facility located at 684 N. Port Crescent Street, which now houses a wide range of services including Family Practice & Pediatrics, Rapid Care, Outpatient Services, and a Specialty Clinic. The event featured a ribbon cutting ceremony, light refreshments, and an opportunity for attendees to enter a prize basket drawing. WLEW radio was on site to conduct live on-air interviews with staff while Extreme Freeze Food Truck was present to provide tasty treats.
“We were thrilled to see such strong support from the community,” said Tracey Foster, Practice Manager at Aspire Rural Health System. “This expansion allows us to better serve our patients close to home with comprehensive, quality care. It was a joy to welcome everyone in and share what the future holds for health services in Bad Axe.”
Aspire’s dedicated staff and providers were on hand to meet attendees and answer questions about the wide variety of services now available at the location. Visitors expressed appreciation for the warm hospitality, informative tours, and the chance to connect with the care teams.
The successful Open House is just one example of Aspire’s continued commitment to rural healthcare access and excellence throughout the Thumb region.
