Cass City, MI — Construction on the newly renovated Red Hawk Wellness Center (RHWC) began in June 2024, and the center celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, January 9th.
The renovated center now features two rooms for patient care, a therapy room, an office, storage space, and a welcoming area for students and community members. The center is a partnership between Cass City Schools, Aspire Rural Health System, and Thumb Psychological, which is founded on a shared vision of fostering a healthier community.
“We are excited to officially open the doors of the Red Hawk Wellness Center,” said Allison Zimba, Superintendent of Cass City Public Schools. “This space will provide crucial access to healthcare and mental health services for our students, contributing to their overall well-being and success.”
The Red Hawk Wellness Center is designed to strengthen the accessibility of health services for students and foster healthier lives, as part of an ongoing effort to support the well-being of the entire community.
