Aspire Rural Healthcare facilities provide high-quality emergency care 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, and is equipped to handle a full range of medical emergencies and injuries. The Emergency Department is staffed with Board Certified/Board Eligible physicians and nurses with advanced trauma certifications, as well as certifications in both adult and pediatric life support.

As part of the state-wide trauma system, we are improving the care and outcomes provided to all truama pateints. Aspire Rural Health emergency rooms provide evalution, stabiliation, and diagnostic capabilities for all injured paitents.
Having basic emergency department facilities to implement ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) protocols with 24-hour laboratory and radiology coverage. Ensuring the nursing staff and physicians have initial and ongoing training in trauma care. Having developed transfer agreements for patients requiring more comprehensive care at a Level I, II, or III Trauma Center.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel are available to provide care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to 9-1-1 calls, along with providing transfer services for both emergent and non-emergent health care needs. We service Sanilac County, along with portions of Huron, Lapeer, and Tuscola Counties.
