Dr. Mark Boules, MD, is a dedicated family medicine physician at Marlette Family Healthcare, providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. With training rooted in rural medicine, Dr. Boules offers a full spectrum of family medicine services, including outpatient physicals, preventative care, acute visits, and procedures like joint and trigger point injections, biopsies, and PAP screenings. Dr. Boules extends his care beyond the clinic by rounding on patients at the Heartlands Assisted Living facility and serves on multiple committees within the organization, advocating for patient needs and the quality of care.
Dr. Boules began his journey in medicine inspired by early volunteer work at a local dialysis center, where he witnessed the profound impact of patient-provider relationships. This foundation led him to Wayne State University for his undergraduate studies, St. George’s School of Medicine, and then Central Washington Family Medicine Residency’s Rural Medicine Track. He chose family medicine because of the dynamic nature of the specialty, where every patient encounter presents a unique opportunity to provide diverse forms of care—whether it’s treating a respiratory infection, performing a procedure, addressing mental health, or offering support during difficult times. Dr. Boules values the trust patients place in him, often feeling like an extended family member, and cherishes the meaningful connections formed with those he serves.
