Ashlee Pierce, DNP, FNP-BC

Ashlee Pierce, DNP, FNP-BC, is a compassionate family medicine provider serving patients of all ages, from infants to seniors, at Family Healthcare of Cass City and Kingston Family Practice. With over nine years of experience with Aspire Rural Health System, Ashlee brings a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to the health and well-being of her community.

Ashlee began her healthcare journey at Saginaw Valley State University, where she earned her undergraduate nursing degree in 2012. Driven by a desire to expand her knowledge and impact, she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Michigan-Flint in 2021. Before transitioning to primary care, she spent six years in the Aspire Hills and Dales Emergency Room, gaining invaluable experience in acute care settings.

 

Growing up in Cass City, Ashlee witnessed firsthand the challenges rural communities face in accessing consistent healthcare. Many patients in her community dealt with frequent changes in care due to provider turnover, creating a gap in trust and continuity. Inspired by these experiences, Ashlee chose to specialize in family medicine, which allows her to care for patients across the lifespan and address the unique needs of her neighbors.

 

As an Aspire provider, Ashlee is proud to be part of an organization dedicated to expanding healthcare access in rural areas. She finds fulfillment in the collaborative efforts of Aspire’s team to help patients achieve their best health. Ashlee’s approach to care is rooted in forming strong relationships with her patients, providing services such as primary care, wellness visits, chronic disease management, and physicals.

 

When she’s not in the clinic, Ashlee enjoys life in Cass City with her husband, daughter, and their beloved dogs and cats. She values the opportunity to give back to the community she calls home and strives to embody Aspire’s mission of “Aspiring for a healthier future.”
