The Aspire Rural Health System Foundation proudly hosted its first “Jeepin for a Cause” event on Saturday, June 27, bringing together an incredible community in support of the BCUPS (Breast Cancer Understanding Prevention and Screening) Program.
The event featured 32 Jeeps and more than 80 participants, all united by a shared commitment to giving back to a meaningful cause. Supporters traveled from across Michigan, with participants coming from as far away as Allendale and New Baltimore to take part in this unforgettable inaugural event.
The scenic ride began in North Branch and traveled through Brown City (with a stop at Latitude Off-Road), Marlette, Evergreen Campground, Cass City, and concluded in Kingston, showcasing the beautiful Thumb region while bringing people together for an important cause.
Throughout the ride, participants enjoyed raffles, duck drawings, games, prizes, and dinner while celebrating the success of the event. One of the day’s most meaningful moments was recognizing six breast cancer survivors who participated in the ride, serving as a powerful reminder of the impact the BCUPS Program has had on local families and communities.
The Aspire Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to the event sponsors, volunteers, participants, and supporters whose generosity made the inaugural fundraiser a success. Their collective efforts helped create a memorable day while raising critical funds to support breast cancer understanding, prevention, and screening initiatives throughout the region.
