Aspire Rural Health System is proud to share that laboratories and respiratory departments at Marlette Regional Hospital (MRH) and Hills & Dales Healthcare (HDH) have continued to meet the accreditation standards of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) following a recent on-site inspection.
CAP accreditation is recognized as the gold standard in laboratory quality and safety. This achievement reflects Aspire’s commitment to delivering accurate, timely results while maintaining the highest standards in patient care.
As part of the accreditation process, CAP inspectors—who are practicing laboratory professionals—conduct a comprehensive review of laboratory and testing operations. This includes evaluating quality control procedures, staff qualifications, equipment, safety protocols, and overall management practices to ensure alignment with the latest best practices.
Danielle Moore, Aspire Director of Laboratory, added “This recognition highlights the dedication of our laboratory and respiratory teams and their vital role in supporting high-quality care across our communities.”
Aspire’s MRH and HDH laboratories join more than 8,000 CAP-accredited facilities worldwide and is part of a global network of over 23,000 laboratories committed to continuous quality improvement through proficiency testing and evidence-based practices.
This accreditation reinforces Aspire Rural Health System’s ongoing commitment to providing safe, reliable, and high-quality healthcare close to home. To learn more about Aspire, please visit www.aspirerhs.org or follow us on Facebook.
