Aspire Auxiliaries Support Patient Care with Generous Equipment Donations

May 4, 2026

Aspire Rural Health System is proud to recognize the continued generosity and commitment of its local hospital auxiliaries, whose recent contributions are making a meaningful impact on patient care across multiple departments.

In Deckerville, the Deckerville Community Hospital (DCH) Auxiliary provided funding for mechanical patient lifts. These lifts play a critical role in enhancing safety for both patients and staff—helping prevent falls, reducing the risk of injury, and improving efficiency in patient care, particularly during times of limited staffing.

The Hills & Dales Healthcare (HDH) Auxiliary recently funded the purchase of two NuStep recumbent cross trainers for the Rehabilitation Department. This specialized equipment will support both inpatient and outpatient therapy services, helping patients safely rebuild strength, mobility, and endurance during their recovery.

At Marlette Regional Hospital (MRH), the Marlette Auxiliary supported the Emergency Department with the purchase of a Buddy Lite® blood and fluid warmer. This advanced equipment allows care teams to administer temperature-controlled IV fluids directly at the bedside, improving patient safety and outcomes when timely intervention is essential.

“These contributions reflect the unwavering dedication our auxiliaries have to the health and well-being of our communities,” said Brooke Stafford, Aspire Senior Director of Elder Care Services. “Their support allows us to continue investing in high-quality equipment that directly enhances the care we provide every day.”

Aspire Rural Health System extends its sincere appreciation to the Hills & Dales, Deckerville, and Marlette Auxiliaries for their ongoing commitment to advancing rural healthcare.
