Antonio DiCarlo, MD

Dr. Antonio DiCarlo, MD, specializes in Family Medicine and offers a wide range of services to his patients, including comprehensive medical care of acute and chronic medical conditions, medical weight loss counseling, smoking cessation, contraceptive management and family planning. Dr. DiCarlo treats patients of all ages out of Aspire Rural Health System’s North Branch Family Healthcare office. Dr. DiCarlo explains that Family Medicine “allows me to do what I truly enjoy doing as well as the freedom to spend time with loved ones and be present for them.”

Dr. DiCarlo’s road to becoming a medical professional was a bit unlike that of his peers. He graduated from The University of Windsor with an Honors Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology as well as a Bachelors of Education. After a few years of working various jobs including on the Big 3 assembly line, for a nutritional company, and teaching, he was continuously drawn to the medical field and spent much of his free time volunteering at health fairs and shelters. After finding that the ability to help others gave him the most joy and satisfaction, Dr. DiCarlo decided to return to school to complete a Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto before completing Medical School with Saint James School of Medicine in Chicago. Dr. DiCarlo then completed his residency in Family Medicine with Ascension Genesys in Grand Blanc, MI.
