Meeting with a dietitian for nutrition counseling (referred to as Medical Nutrition Therapy) can assist you in meeting your health goals with personalized recommendations and plans. These visits are provided by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), who is an expert on diet and nutrition within a wide variety of settings and nutrition topics. Individuals managing various chronic health conditions, such as obesity, diabetes, chronic kidney disease or others may benefit from a visit with a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for nutrition counseling.

Your insurance may require a referral from your primary care provider for this service. We encourage all patients to verify coverage with their insurance companies for visit codes 97802 and 97803 prior to scheduling a visit. Please contact our office for more information.
