The Aspire Rural Health System Foundation, in collaboration with Marlette and Brown City schools, is proud to announce the PINK OUT Cancer Clash—a special baseball and softball event dedicated to the fight against breast cancer. The games will take place on Thursday, May 1st, at the Marlette Athletic Complex.
All proceeds from this event will directly support BCUPS (Breast Cancer Understanding, Prevention & Screenings), helping to financially assist patients in acquiring important screening mammograms and diagnostic testing services. For Thumb Area patients that have been diagnosed with breast cancer and are undergoing treatment, BCUPS provides grant funding and patients are eligible to reapply every 6 months.
A group of exceptional community volunteers and school representatives from both communities have worked collaboratively with the Aspire Foundation over the past few months to coordinate this event.
Attendees can also enjoy delicious food from Brower Farms’ food truck, offering pulled pork, roast beef sandwiches, coleslaw, potato salad, chips, drinks, and more.
This is more than just a game—it’s a chance for the community to come together in the fight against breast cancer. Wear pink, show your support, and help make a difference!
