Aspire Rural Health System is pleased to announce the addition of two new vehicles to its Hospice Department, allowing for expanded “Hospice at Home” services in the communities we serve. This enhancement ensures that patients can receive compassionate end-of-life care wherever they reside, whether in their home or at our Residence.
“Our goal is to provide comfort and support during a difficult time,” said Tammy Bricker RN, BSN, United Hospice Service Director at Aspire Rural Health System. “With these new vehicles, we can reach even more families, ensuring that patients have access to the highest quality hospice care in the comfort of their own home or chosen facility.”
The Aspire Hospice team offers comprehensive care, including regular visits from registered nurses, social workers to address emotional concerns, certified nurse assistants, and access to specialized services like dietary, physical therapy, and speech therapy if needed. Our medical director and nurse practitioners, trained in end-of-life care, work alongside your physician to prioritize patient comfort and well-being, available 24/7. Spiritual support is also available from our hospice chaplain, and bereavement services continue for up to 13 months after the loss of a loved one.
