January 31, 2025

Aspire Rural Health System Foundation is proud to announce its continued dedication to advancing prostate cancer understanding, prevention, and screenings through its partnership with the former P.C.U.P.S Foundation. Together, we are honored to continue the tradition of the Annual Hunting for Health Event, a cherished community gathering that combines outdoor excitement with life-saving advocacy.

This year’s event will take place on Friday and Saturday, March 14th and 15th, 2025, at the picturesque Rooster Ranch in Ubly, MI. Open to men, women, and children of all ages, this unique fundraiser promises to create lasting memories while supporting an important cause.

Highlights of the event include:

  • European Pheasant Hunt: An exciting hunting experience that brings participants together in camaraderie and purpose.
  • Walk-Up Hunt: Enjoy an afternoon walk-up hunt for a more personalized hunting experience.
  • Clay Target Shooting: Test your aim and enjoy clay target shooting activities.
  • Delicious Meals: Enjoy a robust breakfast and lunch spread to fuel your day.
  • Raffles and Drawings: A chance to win fantastic prizes, including firearms.
  • Bird Dressing Service: All harvested birds will be dressed for participants to take home.

“Hunting for Health is more than just an event—it’s a tradition that unites our community in the fight against prostate cancer,” said Stephanie Langenburg, Aspire Foundation Director. “We are thrilled to carry on this meaningful work and invite everyone to join us in making a difference.”

Proceeds from the event will directly support prostate cancer awareness, screenings, and prevention programs throughout the region. Aspire Rural Health System Foundation is committed to improving health outcomes and ensuring access to vital healthcare resources for rural communities.
