United Hospice Service would like to thank the Croswell-Lexington Fraternal Order of Eagles #4465 for their generous donation.
Recently, the Croswell-Lexington Eagles held a spaghetti dinner for its participants and local community members in which all the proceeds would be donated to a worthy local organization. A member of the group graciously suggested donating the funds to United Hospice Service, which provides compassionate care and support to individuals and families in the rural health area of the Thumb during the end-of-life.
In early November, members of the Croswell-Lexington Fraternal Order of Eagles #4465 visited United Hospice Service and presented representative Jamie Fritz, RN, BSN with a check totaling $600 from the spaghetti dinner. This donation will be put towards room and board fees for United Hospice Service patients who may not be able to afford the cost.
