Jean Patrick Memorial Donates Pavilion to The Heartlands Marlette Senior Living

September 5, 2024

The Heartlands Marlette Senior Living Community would like to express sincere thanks and appreciation to the Jean Patrick board for the donation of an outdoor pavilion for residents and the community to enjoy at the Community Center.

The 1,152 sq ft outdoor patio and pavilion will provide a community gathering space for large groups and residents to enjoy. The space will promote outside dining for residents, life enrichment opportunities, gatherings with friends and family, meetings, and much more. When not in use for the residents, the structure is offered on a reservation basis for community and corporate events.

The Patrick family’s deep-rooted ties to Marlette have been evident throughout their decades of business and community involvement. This significant contribution highlights their ongoing commitment to giving back and fostering a stronger, more connected community.

Director of The Heartlands Marlette Senior Living Community, Jessica Kursinsky says, “I’d like to thank the Jean Patrick Memorial Board for their very generous donation to help our efforts enhancing the lives of those we serve in our community. The pavilion will allow for increased time outdoors which has been known to aid mental health and physical well-being. It warms my heart to see the support and it’s clear that the Jean Patrick Memorial Board believes in supporting the residents and community.”
