Aspire Rural Health System will be providing sports physical examinations to all area athletes at a special rate of $10.00 (CASH ONLY) across several Aspire locations. $5.00 from each physical will be donated back to the local school’s athletic department where the clinic is located.
No appointment is necessary. Sports physicals are done on a walk-in basis from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at these Aspire locations and dates ONLY:
- Kingston Family Practice: June 27th
- Family Health Care in Mayville: July 18th
- Family Health Care in Brown City: July 19th
- Family Health Care in North Branch: July 26th
- Cass City Family Practice: July 26th
- Deckerville HealthCare Clinic: August 1st
- Millwood Street Primary Care: August 1st
- Port Sanilac Healthcare: August 8th
- Marlette Family Healthcare, Suite #2: August 9th
- Hills & Dales at Bad Axe: August 15th
Parents MUST accompany the student getting the physical. Each location will have a supply of physical cards available if the student does not bring one.
If these dates and times do not work for you or your child, did you know sports physicals can be part of a Well-Child Visit? Most Well-Child examinations are 100% covered by insurance and these exams count as your child’s sports physical. During a Well-Child visit, the physician or healthcare provider does a head-to-toe examination including:
- Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, and Pulse Checks
- Respiration (Breathing)
- Body Temperature
- Mental Health
- Unique concerns of female athletes
- And previous concussions and head injuries
If your child is due for their annual well-exam, schedule them now with their healthcare provider and include your required sports physical for free!
